PM Chính Calls on Vietnamese Youth to Pioneer in Innovation and National Development

Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính has urged Vietnamese youth to embrace their pioneering role in three crucial aspects and accelerate efforts in six key areas to contribute to the nation’s advancement.
Speaking at the award ceremony of the Vietnam Outstanding Young Faces Awards 2024 in Hanoi on Sunday night, held in celebration of the 94th anniversary of the Hồ Chí Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-2025), PM Chính emphasized that young people must lead in innovative thinking and strategic vision, spearhead scientific research, technological advancement, and digital transformation, and promote Vietnam’s cultural identity on the global stage.
The Prime Minister outlined six key focal points for youth involvement: fulfilling assigned political tasks with innovation and agility; contributing to administrative reforms and streamlining organizational structures; excelling in production, business, and entrepreneurship; promoting social equity and welfare to ensure inclusivity; advancing international integration and cultural diplomacy to build an independent economy; and strengthening national defense and security, remaining committed to the nation.
Quoting President Hồ Chí Minh’s words that youth are the future of the nation, PM Chính reaffirmed that the Party and State prioritize the role of young people. He lauded the Hồ Chí Minh Communist Youth Union for fostering young talent and developing high-quality human resources for the country.
The Prime Minister’s address comes at a pivotal moment as Vietnam approaches significant milestones in 2025, including Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the National Party Congress and ambitious goals for economic growth and digital transformation. He called on young people to think ambitiously, act decisively, and collaborate towards a prosperous and modern Vietnam.
