President Ilham Aliyev Thanks Iranian President for Supportive Remarks on Azerbaijan

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has expressed gratitude to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian for his kind and sincere remarks regarding Azerbaijan.

President Aliyev conveyed his appreciation in a post shared on his official X account, emphasizing the longstanding bonds of solidarity between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Iran.

“Mr. President Masoud Pezeshkian, I thank you for the kind and sincere words you have said about Azerbaijan,” President Aliyev said.

He noted that the peoples of Azerbaijan and Iran have consistently supported each other during difficult and challenging times.

“Against the backdrop of the recent events in our region, it has once again been demonstrated that Azerbaijan stands by the brotherly Iranian people,” President Aliyev added.
