President of Kazakhstan to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on December 21-22.

In accordance with the program of the visit, topical issues of bilateral and regional importance will be discussed between the leaders of the two countries.

The main agenda of the talks includes deepening Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan strategic partnership and alliance relations, increasing the volume of trade, promoting mutually beneficial joint projects on industrial cooperation, expanding collaboration in the fields of agriculture, transport and logistics, and continuing active interregional and cultural-humanitarian exchanges.

The parties are planning to launch a number of large investment projects.

Following the meetings, it is planned to adopt a significant set of bilateral agreements on the priority directions of practical cooperation.
