Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính Pays Tribute to Martyrs and Heroic Vietnamese Mothers in Quảng Nam

Tam Kỳ, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính offered incense and flowers at the Quảng Nam Provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery and the Heroic Vietnamese Mother Monument in Tam Kỳ City on February 8, as part of his working visit to the central province.
Quảng Nam, a province with a deep-rooted history of sacrifice, has over 65,000 martyrs, nearly 31,000 wounded and sick soldiers, and more than 6,000 individuals affected by the resistance war against US imperialists. Additionally, it is home to 15,360 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, who endured immense hardships and losses for the nation’s freedom and independence.
The Prime Minister and his delegation observed a moment of silence to honour and express their profound respect and gratitude to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national liberation and reunification. They also paid tribute to the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, acknowledging their sacrifices and unwavering courage.
Emphasizing the spirit of revolutionary heroism, PM Chính reaffirmed his commitment, alongside the entire Party and people, to strengthening national unity and propelling Vietnam into a new era of strong development, civilisation, and prosperity.
On the same morning, the Government leader visited Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyễn Thị Thoại in Tam Hiệp Commune, Núi Thành District. Her husband and son were both martyrs who gave their lives for the country.
Reaffirming the Party and State’s unwavering commitment to honoring and supporting the families of those who sacrificed for the nation, PM Chính urged local authorities to prioritize the welfare of policy beneficiary families and those who contributed to the revolution.
