Princess Nourah University Launches Academic Acceleration System for 2024-2025 Academic Year
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: The Deanship of Admission and Registration at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has introduced the Academic Acceleration System for the 2024-2025 academic year, targeting female secondary education students admitted to the university. This initiative aims to expedite the educational journey for outstanding female undergraduates, enabling them to graduate sooner by leveraging their abilities and academic excellence.
The Academic Acceleration System is structured into two tracks. The first track facilitates academic acceleration to bypass the foundation year, allowing newly admitted secondary education students to directly enroll in courses related to their chosen major without completing foundation year courses.
The second track involves a comparative assessment process, wherein students take specialized education tests. Upon passing these tests, students can enroll in the remaining courses not covered by the acceleration system.
To qualify for the academic acceleration system, female students must be admitted to the university in either the engineering foundation year or the health foundation year, with a composite score rate of no less than 89 percent.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and providing accelerated pathways for female students to achieve their educational goals.
