Russia, Pakistan Discuss Strengthening Cooperation in Culture, Education and Sports
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev met with Farah Naz Akbar, Member of the National Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for the National Heritage and Culture Division, on August 20 to discuss bilateral cooperation in culture, education and sports.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state of bilateral relations in these areas and exchanged views on prospects for further cooperation.
The officials agreed to facilitate joint academic and cultural exchange programmes and work toward further strengthening the legal framework governing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Pakistan and Russia to expanding people-to-people contacts and promoting closer institutional cooperation through cultural, educational and sporting initiatives.
