Shavkat Mirziyoyev Extends Warm Birthday Wishes to Serdar Berdimuhamedov

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: On September 22, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a telephone conversation with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to extend warm congratulations on the occasion of President Berdimuhamedov’s birthday. President Mirziyoyev expressed his sincere wishes for good health, well-being, and continued success to the fraternal people of Turkmenistan, along with peace and prosperity.
During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the ongoing development of friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Both presidents noted with satisfaction the progress in the intensive political dialogue and the fruitful interdepartmental contacts, particularly through the Intergovernmental Commission.
Key areas of cooperation were highlighted, including the growing trade turnover between the two nations, the construction of the Shavat-Dashoguz border zone, and the deepening of energy and transport collaboration. Additionally, interregional and cultural-humanitarian exchange programs are actively being implemented, further strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The leaders also reviewed the current regional agenda and discussed the schedule of upcoming joint events aimed at enhancing cooperation across various sectors.
