Sheikha Fatima Honors Mothers of Martyrs on UAE Commemoration Day

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, widely revered as the “Mother of the Nation,” delivered a heartfelt message to the mothers of martyrs on the occasion of Commemoration Day, observed annually on 30th November.

As Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), Her Highness expressed profound gratitude to the mothers, acknowledging their unparalleled sacrifices as the ultimate devotion to the nation.

“The martyr has become a symbol of loyalty and sacrifice and will remain forever etched in the nation’s memory,” Sheikha Fatima stated, honoring the courage and steadfastness of these mothers. She described their enduring strength and love for the homeland as a source of inspiration and a beacon of faith for the entire nation.

Her Highness concluded with a prayer, saying, “I pray that God grants you peace and contentment, elevates the rank of your martyr son among the righteous and the faithful, and blesses you and your esteemed family. You remain a source of pride and inspiration to us all.”
