Shusha Hosts Meeting of OTS Council of Foreign Ministers

Shusha, The Gulf Observer: The Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is currently meeting in Shusha, Azerbaijan, according to a post by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on X.

In his address, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the initiatives aimed at strengthening the OTS and the prospects for sectoral cooperation in areas such as security, economy, trade, energy, transport-communications, and the environment. Minister Bayramov also provided an update on post-conflict regional developments, highlighting the extensive reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories and the current state of the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process.

This meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers is a precursor to the informal summit of the Heads of State of the OTS, reflecting the organization’s ongoing commitment to fostering collaboration and development among its member states.
