Nairobi, The Gulf Observer: Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Leyla Aliyeva, visited Nairobi Secondary School, one of the city’s oldest educational institutions, as part of the Foundation’s initiative to support education and healthcare in African countries.

The visit marked the inauguration of a newly established laboratory and a computer class at the school, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. These upgrades were facilitated under the Foundation’s “Development of Education and Culture in African Countries” project, aimed at improving educational infrastructure and opportunities in the region.

Following the school visit, Leyla Aliyeva toured the Kangemi Medical Center in Nairobi. She visited the center’s newborn section, where the Heydar Aliyev Foundation had donated incubators to enhance neonatal care. In a heartwarming gesture, New Year’s gifts were distributed to mothers at the center, underscoring the Foundation’s commitment to supporting community well-being.

This initiative reflects the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s continued efforts to strengthen educational and healthcare systems in Africa, fostering development and cultural exchange.
