Tajikistan, Oman Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda held a meeting with Oman’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthi to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, the sides underscored the importance of establishing a Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation as an effective mechanism for advancing bilateral relations and expanding mutually beneficial engagement.
The officials also expressed mutual interest in further developing political, economic and trade ties, with particular emphasis on expanding investment cooperation.
The meeting also addressed prospects for strengthening cooperation in tourism, science, education and culture.
The sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening Tajikistan-Oman relations and broadening cooperation across areas of mutual interest.
