Turkmen President Inspects Construction of International Pediatric Center in Ashgabat

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has inspected construction work at the International Pediatric Center in the southern part of Ashgabat, which is nearing completion, according to Turkmen state media.
During the visit, officials briefed the President on the progress of construction, the installation of medical equipment in various departments and landscaping work around the complex.
They also presented plans for the center, including clinical laboratories, operating and inpatient rooms, a conference hall, a children’s playground and other facilities designed to provide comprehensive medical services.
The five-storey center is scheduled to open during the professional holiday of health care and pharmaceutical industry workers in the year marking the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. The facility will provide medical services to children over the age of three and is expected to establish cooperation with leading medical institutions around the world.
Emphasizing the importance of creating a child-friendly environment, President Berdimuhamedov said the center’s interior spaces should reflect the world and needs of younger generations.
He instructed relevant officials to make effective use of international experience and introduce artificial intelligence and digital technologies into medical services.
The President also stressed the importance of maintaining electronic medical records, ensuring the efficient and long-term use of the center’s modern equipment, and providing medical professionals with opportunities to study advanced international practices and the latest scientific developments.
During the inspection, Berdimuhamedov instructed officials to complete all construction work to a high standard and within the established deadlines. He also called for comprehensive preparations for the opening ceremony of the International Pediatric Center.
