Turkmenistan and EU Discuss Bilateral Relations and Cooperation

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova held a meeting with Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan Luc Devigne at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on September 21.

The meeting focused on the current state of relations between Turkmenistan and the European Union, prospects for their further development, and key areas of bilateral cooperation.

Particular attention was given to the priorities of Turkmenistan and the European Union in the context of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, as well as current issues on the international and regional agenda.

The sides also exchanged views on organizational matters related to upcoming joint events and discussed further interaction within the framework of bilateral dialogue and international platforms.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their interest in maintaining constructive cooperation and regular contacts on issues of mutual interest.
