Turkmenistan Participates in Talks on First Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov participated in the second meeting of senior officials preparing for the First Summit of Heads of State of the Central Asia–Republic of Korea format, held in Tashkent on June 16.
The meeting brought together representatives of the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and the Republic of Korea.
During the discussions, participants reviewed the progress of preparations for the upcoming summit and examined draft outcome documents expected to be adopted by the heads of state.
The officials also exchanged views on ways to further strengthen multifaceted cooperation between the Central Asian countries and South Korea, highlighting the importance of expanding collaboration across political, economic, and other areas of mutual interest.
The meeting formed part of ongoing efforts to ensure the successful organization of the inaugural Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit, which is expected to provide new momentum for regional partnership and dialogue between the participating countries.
