Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Turkmenistan, Elizabeth Rood. The discussions centered on strengthening the bilateral partnership between Turkmenistan and the United States, covering a wide range of contemporary issues.

Both sides highlighted the importance of the “C5+1” format, which brings together five Central Asian countries and the United States. It was emphasized that this platform has fostered successful cooperation in key areas such as security, the economy, energy, and the environment. The meeting underscored the mutual commitment to further developing ties between the two nations.
