UAE Condemns Iran’s Missile and Drone Attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq’s Kurdistan Region
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned the renewed missile and drone attacks launched by Iran against the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, describing the assaults as a serious violation of national sovereignty and a threat to regional security.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) denounced the attacks in the strongest terms, stressing that such actions undermine the sovereignty of the affected countries and pose significant risks to their peace, security and stability.
The Ministry affirmed that the missile and drone strikes constitute a flagrant violation of international norms and called for respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states.
The UAE also reiterated its full solidarity with the governments and peoples of Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government, reaffirming its unwavering support for all measures aimed at protecting their security, stability and national interests.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of preserving regional stability and underscored the need to prevent further escalation that could threaten peace and security across the Middle East.
The UAE reaffirmed its commitment to supporting efforts that promote dialogue, stability and respect for international law, while standing alongside its regional partners in confronting threats to their sovereignty and security.
