UAE Reaffirms Strong Ties with Montenegro at Independence Anniversary Celebrations

Podgorica, The Gulf Observer: On behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, attended the official celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Montenegro’s independence in the capital, Podgorica.

During the visit, Al Kaabi met with Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

She also extended their congratulations and best wishes for continued progress, stability, and prosperity to the government and people of Montenegro.

Prime Minister Spajić, in turn, conveyed his greetings to the UAE leadership and expressed appreciation for the UAE’s participation in the national celebrations. He reaffirmed Montenegro’s commitment to strengthening friendship and cooperation with the UAE across various sectors.

Al Kaabi underscored the UAE’s commitment to further advancing bilateral relations and building on the positive momentum achieved in recent years. She highlighted the importance of high-level engagement in creating new opportunities that support the shared interests of both countries and their peoples.

Diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Montenegro were established in 2008 and have since witnessed steady growth in political, economic, investment, and cultural cooperation.
