Uzbek President visited Bekobad and checked various industrial projects/ football academy

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the city of Bekobad on August 12 in order to get acquainted with the life of the population and industrial projects.

The Uzbekistan metallurgical combine has a great role in the economic and social development of this land. It includes dozens of enterprises and social institutions. 11,000 people work at the combine.

Therefore, special attention has been paid to expanding its activities. In recent years, a number of investment projects have been implemented, new workshops have been launched, existing ones have been modernized.

One of them is a variety rolling complex. A thermo-strengthening line was brought here from abroad for a project worth about $5 million, and it was put into operation in February of this year. Through this, a production capacity of 500,000 tons of A500-A800 fittings per year was created.

During his visit to the combine, the head of state came to this complex and was interested in the economic efficiency of the project.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the El Golazo Football Academy at the Metallurg Football Club, in Bekabad.

The school, organized with the support of the foundation of the famous Spanish Club Real Madrid, began its work in October last year.
