Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Hồ An Phong, emphasized that digital transformation is central to rapid and sustainable tourism development.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has implemented frameworks for a national tourism database and Industry 4.0 technologies, aiming to position tourism as an economic spearhead. The ‘Vietnam Travel’ app and initiatives like the online exhibition Vibrant Vietnam on Google Arts & Culture exemplify the sector’s digital advances.
With a 23.8% revenue increase in 2024, Vietnam’s tourism is poised to attract up to 23 million international visitors by 2025, reinforcing its role as a major economic driver.
