Qatar Investment Authority to invest $3 billion in Pakistan
Doha, The Gulf Observer: Qatar Investment Authority announced its plan to invest $3 billion in key sectors of Pakistan economy.
This was announced during a session of official talks between Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and H E Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan today morning at the Amiri Diwan.
HH the Amir stressed the importance of the brotherly and strategic relations between the two countries and their aspiration to enhance economic partnership by raising trade exchange and promoting investments through the Qatar Investment Authority. It is in this regard, the Qatar Investment Authority announced its aspiration to invest USD 3 billion in the various commercial and investment sectors in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
