Qatar Strongly Condemns Israeli Aggression on Lebanon
Doha, The Gulf Observer: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli military aggression on Lebanon, which has resulted in hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries. In a statement released on Monday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against the dangerous expansion of violence across the region, amid the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip, cautioning that the situation could spiral into a comprehensive regional war.
The Ministry attributed the ongoing escalation to the lack of international deterrence against Israel’s actions, highlighting its continuous violations of international law and impunity.
“This reality exacerbates crises, pushing the region to the brink of the abyss and exposing it to further tensions with profound regional and international consequences,” the statement said.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry called on the international community to take urgent steps to hold the Israeli occupation accountable and to stop the ongoing aggression against Lebanon and Gaza. It reiterated Qatar’s firm commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at restoring peace, security, and stability in the region.
The statement also reaffirmed Qatar’s unwavering support for Lebanon’s unity, territorial integrity, and stability, emphasizing its backing for all initiatives aimed at fostering the country’s security and prosperity.
