Saudi Arabia and Qatar Strengthen Cultural and Tourism Collaboration
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah and Qatari Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani co-chaired the inaugural meeting of the Culture, Tourism, and Entertainment Committee of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council on Monday. The meeting took place at the Riyadh International Book Fair, where Qatar is the guest of honor.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed its achievements and discussed objectives and initiatives aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism, and entertainment. Several key recommendations were adopted to further strengthen ties between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and Qatar’s National Vision 2030.
Following the meeting, Prince Badr and Sheikh Abdulrahman toured the Riyadh International Book Fair, which features around 2,000 publishing houses from 30 countries. The event serves as a platform for cultural exchange and knowledge sharing, bringing together writers, publishers, and readers from Saudi Arabia and around the world.
