Qatar Charity, Save the Dream sign cooperation agreement

Doha, The Gulf Observer: Qatar Charity (QC) has signed a bilateral cooperation agreement with the “Save the Dream” organisation to launch the “Empowering Youth and Saving the Dreams of Somali Children through Sports” project.

The project comes under “Sports for Development and Peace”, a joint initiative between Qatar Charity and Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD).

It seeks to empower a group of young people to become “agents of change” and train other young people to contribute to the development of approaches to promoting development and peace through sport.

The agreement was signed on behalf of Qatar Charity by Deputy CEO of Programs and International Development Sector Nawaf Al Hammadi, and on behalf of Save the Dream by its CEO Massimiliano Montanari, in the presence of QFFD Deputy Director-General for Planning Ali bin Abdullah Al Dabbagh
