Tajikistan Foreign Minister Meets EU Special Representative in Kuwait to Bolster Cooperation
Kuwait City, The Gulf Observer: Tajikistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, met with the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, Terhi Hakala, during the High-Level Conference on Strengthening International Counter-Terrorism Cooperation and Building Agile Border Security Mechanisms in Kuwait on November 5, as reported by the Tajikistan Foreign Ministry.
The two leaders explored avenues for enhancing bilateral political, trade, economic, and security collaboration, emphasizing the importance of implementing relevant EU projects in Tajikistan. Their dialogue also covered pressing security risks and challenges, the importance of bolstering regional cooperation, and a range of mutual interests aimed at promoting stability and development within the region.
This meeting signifies continued efforts to strengthen EU-Tajikistan relations and tackle shared concerns through collaboration on regional and international platforms.
