Azerbaijan Expands “ASAN Khidmet” Model with 25 International Agreements, Including Key Deal with Colombia

Baku, The Gulf Observer: A significant milestone was achieved as Azerbaijan’s “ASAN Khidmet” public service model secured 25 international agreements for its global application. This announcement was made during the World Government Summit, marking a major expansion of the model which has gained recognition for its efficiency and transparency.
In a pivotal moment of the summit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan and the relevant institution of the Republic of Colombia. The agreement focuses on the implementation of the “ASAN Khidmet” experience in Colombia and the organization of specialized training programs for Colombian civil servants at Azerbaijan’s “ASAN Khidmet” centers.
The MoU highlights the growing international appeal of Azerbaijan’s innovative public service delivery model, which has already seen success across Europe, Asia, and Africa. With this agreement, the “ASAN Khidmet” model is set to be introduced in the Americas, contributing to global best practices in government service efficiency.
Following the signing of the MoU, discussions were held between Azerbaijani and Colombian officials to outline the next steps for collaboration. These actions will focus on the effective implementation of the program and the training of Colombian civil servants, aiming to improve public service quality and streamline administrative processes in Colombia.
This expansion represents a significant step in Azerbaijan’s efforts to share its successful public service innovations with the international community, further establishing “ASAN Khidmet” as a leading global model for efficient and transparent governance.
