President Pezeshkian Praises Iranian People’s Unity in Face of Israeli Aggression

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: President Masoud Pezeshkian has lauded the Iranian nation for demonstrating unwavering unity and solidarity in defense of the Islamic Republic during what he described as an unprovoked war of aggression by the Israeli regime.
During a visit to the Interior Ministry on Sunday, President Pezeshkian emphasized that the Iranian people stood firmly by their country throughout the 12-day conflict imposed by Israel, showcasing a cohesive national front in the face of external threats.
“People, regardless of their tastes, are working for the development and progress of the country,” the president said, highlighting the importance of recognizing and valuing the collective efforts of the populace now more than ever.
On June 13, Israel launched coordinated strikes targeting Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians across Tehran and other cities. In retaliation, the Iranian Armed Forces carried out 22 rounds of punitive strikes, deploying precision missiles and advanced drones that successfully penetrated Israel’s multilayered air defense system and struck key strategic positions. The military response ultimately led to a ceasefire proposal backed by the United States.
President Pezeshkian stressed that Iran’s national unity could further be harnessed through increased public participation in decision-making processes, particularly in vital sectors such as health and security. “We intend to teach our children a precise concept of patriotism through proper education,” he added, referring to his administration’s broader efforts to strengthen national cohesion.
Concluding his remarks, the president assured citizens of the government’s commitment to public service, stating, “Today, the people must be assured that the government is their refuge and intends to serve them.”
