Czech-Slovak Family Film Tichá pošta to Premiere Internationally at Locarno Film Festival

Prague, The Gulf Observer: The Czech-Slovak adventure family film Tichá pošta (Secret Delivery), directed by Ján Sebechlebský, is set to have its international premiere at the prestigious Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland. The film will be featured in the renowned Kids Screenings section of the festival, which runs from August 6 to 16, 2025.
Secret Delivery, which entered Czech cinemas on February 27 this year, is based on the novel by acclaimed writer, screenwriter, and playwright Jiří Stránský. Inspired by true events, the film unfolds in the Krkonoše Mountains during the final days of World War II. The heartwarming story follows a group of courageous children who embark on a daring mission to rescue a downed French pilot.
The film has been praised for its portrayal of bravery, friendship, and human solidarity, offering young audiences a glimpse into historical events through an engaging and adventurous narrative.
