Saudi Crown Prince Meets Iranian Foreign Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Ties and Promote Regional Stability

Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his accompanying delegation at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Tuesday, as part of continued efforts to enhance Saudi-Iranian relations and address pressing regional developments, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince and Minister Araghchi reviewed the state of bilateral relations and exchanged perspectives on key regional issues. Prince Mohammed emphasized the Kingdom’s hope that the current ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel would serve as a foundation for greater security and stability across the region.

Reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s commitment to diplomatic engagement, the Crown Prince stressed the importance of dialogue and political solutions in resolving regional disputes and reducing tensions. He reiterated the Kingdom’s consistent support for peace-driven initiatives to address longstanding conflicts.

Foreign Minister Araghchi, in turn, expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s firm condemnation of Israeli aggression and praised Crown Prince Mohammed’s leadership and commitment to advancing peace and stability in the Middle East.

The meeting was attended by senior Saudi officials, including Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and National Security Advisor Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban.

Earlier the same day, Prince Faisal bin Farhan received Minister Araghchi in Makkah, where the two top diplomats discussed avenues for strengthening bilateral relations and fostering broader regional cooperation. Their talks also addressed the evolving security landscape and mutual efforts to preserve stability.

The high-level exchanges underscore the commitment of both nations to a renewed phase of constructive engagement and cooperation in pursuit of a more secure and peaceful Middle East.
