Iranian Foreign Minister Receives Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister in Tehran

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi held a meeting on Tuesday evening with Andreas Kravik, Deputy Foreign Minister of Norway, who is on an official visit to Tehran for consultations with senior Iranian officials.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state of Iran–Norway bilateral relations, underlining the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation between the two countries. Discussions also extended to recent regional and international developments, with particular attention given to security and non-proliferation concerns.

Minister Araqchi and Deputy Minister Kravik exchanged views on the ongoing aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and its negative implications for regional stability and the global nuclear non-proliferation regime.

The Iranian side expressed grave concern over the destructive consequences of these actions, stressing the need for the international community to uphold its responsibilities in preserving peace, international law, and multilateral agreements.

Both officials emphasised the value of diplomatic engagement and the importance of maintaining open channels for dialogue amid escalating global tensions. The meeting reflected a shared commitment to constructive diplomacy and mutual respect in addressing complex geopolitical challenges.
