Turkmen, German Diplomats Discuss Stability, Peace, and Connectivity in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Ambassador-designate of the Federal Republic of Germany to Pakistan, Ms. Ina Lepel, paid a visit to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad on Monday, where she held a constructive meeting with Ambassador A. Movlamov of Turkmenistan.

The discussions centered on regional developments and mutual priorities, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to promoting stability, strengthening peace, and enhancing regional cooperation.

Ambassador Movlamov briefed Ms. Lepel on Turkmenistan’s infrastructure and energy projects undertaken in collaboration with Pakistan and Afghanistan. He underlined the potential of these initiatives to stimulate economic growth and improve regional connectivity.

Acknowledging the strategic significance of these projects, Ambassador-designate Lepel noted that German companies are actively exploring opportunities to participate in their implementation.

The meeting concluded with both parties expressing their shared interest in further strengthening bilateral ties, as well as advancing cooperation at the regional and multilateral levels.
