Kazakh Foreign Minister to Pay Official Visit to Switzerland on December 2

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Kazakhstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yermek Kosherbayev, will undertake an official visit to the Swiss Confederation on December 2, 2025, at the invitation of the Swiss side, according to media reports.
Speaking at a briefing, Aibek Smadyarov, Official Spokesperson of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that the visit will include talks with senior Swiss leaders, notably Vice President and Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research, Guy Parmelin, as well as Ignazio Cassis, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
During the meetings, both sides will discuss key issues of Kazakh–Swiss bilateral cooperation and exchange views on major topics on the multilateral agenda, particularly in light of Switzerland’s upcoming chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in 2026.
The programme also includes engagements with representatives of Switzerland’s leading business communities, aimed at further strengthening economic and investment ties between the two countries.
