President Aliyev Highlights New Phase in Azerbaijan–Bahrain Relations

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has said that the establishment of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Bahrain this year reflects a new stage in bilateral relations and underscores the importance Azerbaijan attaches to strengthening ties with the Kingdom across all areas of cooperation.
In a congratulatory letter addressed to King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of the Kingdom’s national holiday, President Aliyev described the opening of the embassy as a clear indication that relations between the two countries have reached a higher level and hold significant potential for further development.
“The establishment of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Bahrain this year is a clear reflection of our bilateral relations reaching a new level and demonstrates the importance we attach to developing our relations, which hold great potential, across all areas,” the Azerbaijani president said.
President Aliyev expressed confidence that both sides would continue joint efforts to deepen traditional friendly relations and expand cooperation based on mutual trust and respect.
“I am confident that we will successfully continue our joint efforts to deepen the traditional friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bahrain, built on mutual trust and respect, in line with the interests of our peoples and countries,” he added.
