Malaysian Prime Minister to Visit Türkiye for High-Level Strategic Talks
Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to pay an official visit to Türkiye from January 6 to 8 at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Türkiye’s Communications Director Burhanettin Duran announced on Tuesday.
In a statement shared on his NSosyal account, Duran said that during the visit, the first meeting of the Türkiye-Malaysia High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will take place on January 7.
Several agreements are expected to be signed during the visit to strengthen the contractual framework of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Duran added that regional and international issues will also be discussed during the high-level talks, underscoring the mutual commitment of Türkiye and Malaysia to deepen cooperation across political, economic, and strategic fields.
