Saudi Foreign Minister Signs Board of Peace Charter at WEF Davos

Davos, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Tuesday signed the founding charter of the Board of Peace, in the presence of US President Donald Trump and leaders and representatives of a number of countries supporting the establishment of the council.

The signing took place on the sidelines of the 2026 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Prince Faisal’s signing of the charter reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s support for peace initiatives led by President Trump and reaffirms its commitment to backing the mission of the Board of Peace.

According to officials, the Board of Peace will serve as a transitional body tasked with ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip in line with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803. Saudi Arabia’s participation also underscores the Kingdom’s support for international efforts to rebuild Gaza and to advance a just and lasting peace, laying the foundations for enhanced security and stability for the countries and peoples of the region.
