Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Sign Agreement Waiving Visa Requirements for Diplomatic, Official Passport Holders
New York, The Gulf Observer: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on Tuesday signed an agreement abolishing visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and official/special passports, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who is accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his participation in the UN General Assembly session, signed the agreement with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
In a post on X, Ishaq Dar said the agreement would further facilitate high-level engagement and institutional exchanges between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
He said the measure would also contribute to advancing the enduring and brotherly strategic partnership between the two countries across all areas of mutual interest.
The agreement reflects the two countries’ continued efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and facilitate official-level interactions and institutional cooperation.
