Uzbekistan and Pakistan Gain New Momentum in Bilateral Dialogue

Lahore, The Gulf Observer: His Excellency AliSher Tukhtaev held a substantive and constructive meeting in Lahore with one of Pakistan’s most experienced and respected political leaders, former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif, reaffirming the growing momentum in bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
During the meeting, the two sides conducted an in-depth review of the outcomes of the recent state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Pakistan. They also exchanged views on prospects for further deepening bilateral cooperation across key sectors.
Particular attention was given to strengthening trade and economic ties, expanding industrial cooperation, and advancing the implementation of practical joint projects aimed at delivering tangible benefits for both countries.
It was emphasized that the agreements reached at the highest level during the recent state visit have laid a solid and long-term foundation for elevating Uzbekistan–Pakistan relations to a new, more practical and results-oriented stage, firmly aligned with the shared interests and aspirations of the two nations and their peoples.
