President Tokayev Arrives in Washington for Board of Peace Inaugural Meeting

Washington, D.C., The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Washington, D.C. on a working visit, according to the Akorda Press Service.
During the visit, President Tokayev is scheduled to participate in the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace and hold a series of bilateral meetings with leaders of foreign countries as well as senior U.S. officials.
The summit is expected to focus on stabilizing the situation in Gaza and outlining practical steps aimed at ensuring lasting peace, security, and sustainable humanitarian assistance in the region.
Kazakhstan officially joined the Board of Peace in January, reaffirming its commitment to international peacebuilding efforts. President Tokayev signed the Charter of the Board of Peace, underscoring the country’s readiness to contribute to collective initiatives designed to promote stability and humanitarian support in conflict-affected areas.
The working visit reflects Kazakhstan’s active diplomatic engagement and its continued efforts to play a constructive role in addressing regional and global challenges.
