UAE and United States Reaffirm Strategic Partnership During High-Level Meeting in Washington

Washington, D.C., The Gulf Observer: H.H. Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, met with J. D. Vance, Vice President of the United States of America, during his official working visit to Washington.

The meeting focused on the longstanding strategic and historical relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Both sides explored avenues to further enhance cooperation across a broad range of sectors, including economy, investment, trade, advanced technology, energy, and artificial intelligence.

The two leaders also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of shared interest, underscoring the importance of continued dialogue and coordination on global challenges.

During the discussions, Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to deepening collaboration with the United States to expand the horizons of their strategic partnership. He emphasized that strengthening bilateral cooperation serves the mutual interests of both friendly nations while supporting their shared pursuit of sustainable development.

The UAE top diplomat noted that the depth of historical ties between the two countries provides a strong foundation for launching new areas of cooperation, particularly within priority and future-oriented sectors. He also highlighted the importance of sustained consultation and coordination to promote regional stability, peace, and coexistence.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Al Hajeri, Minister of State, and Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States.
