Sheikh Mohamed, Prabowo Hold Phone Call on Regional Security and Iranian Attacks
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday, during which both leaders stressed the urgent need for an immediate halt to military actions in the region and called for resolving tensions through dialogue and diplomacy.
During the conversation, the two leaders underscored the importance of addressing regional challenges through diplomatic channels in a manner that preserves regional security and stability.
They also discussed the recent escalation of tensions in the region, including what they described as blatant Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries, and reviewed the latest developments amid the ongoing military escalation.
Both sides expressed concern over the serious implications of the current situation for regional and international security and stability, reiterating the need for collective efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote peaceful solutions.
