Azerbaijan Resettles 92 Families in Aghdam Under Great Return Program

Aghdam, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan has resettled 92 families, comprising 332 individuals, in Aghdam city as part of its ongoing “Great Return” program aimed at facilitating the return of internally displaced persons to their ancestral lands.
During a ceremony marking the occasion, the families were handed the keys to their newly restored homes, symbolizing a significant step in the country’s post-conflict reconstruction and resettlement efforts.
The event was attended by officials from the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, as well as representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and other senior officials.
The resettlement forms part of Azerbaijan’s broader strategy to rebuild liberated territories, restore infrastructure, and ensure the safe and dignified return of displaced communities, while revitalizing economic and social life in the region.
