UAE and Bahrain Leaders Reaffirm Strong Fraternal Ties, Pledge Deeper Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the Bahraini monarch’s official visit to the United Arab Emirates, reaffirming the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two nations.

The meeting took place in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

During the discussions, the leaders engaged in cordial talks reflecting the enduring bonds between the UAE and Bahrain and the close ties shared by their peoples. Both sides reviewed bilateral relations and explored avenues to further strengthen cooperation across various sectors.

They reaffirmed their shared commitment to enhancing collaboration in ways that support their respective development priorities, advance mutual interests, and contribute to the prosperity of their nations.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on a range of regional and international issues of common interest.

Also in attendance were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; and other senior officials.

From the Bahraini side, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Royal Guard Commander, was also present.

The meeting underscored the continued strength of UAE–Bahrain relations and the shared determination of both leaderships to deepen strategic cooperation.
