Vietnamese Ambassador Participates in Vesak Celebrations at Historic City of Taxila

Taxila, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador of Vietnam to Pakistan, His Excellency Pham Anh Tuan, took part in the organization of the Vesak celebrations in Taxila, a renowned archaeological site linked to the ancient Gandhara civilization where Buddhism flourished as early as the 4th century BCE.
During the visit, the ambassador offered prayers at the Dharmarajika Stupa, which is traditionally believed to house sacred relics of the Buddha. The spiritual experience, he noted, fostered a profound sense of peace and reflection.
Highlighting the significance of the occasion, Ambassador Tuan emphasized the enduring teachings of Buddhism, including compassion, loving-kindness, and wisdom, which continue to inspire people across cultures and generations.
