Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Discuss Expanding UAE–Türkiye Cooperation

Abu Dhabi: UAE President His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation within the framework of the two countries’ Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
During the call, both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to enhancing UAE–Türkiye relations and expanding collaboration across various sectors, particularly in the fields of economy and development, in support of the growth ambitions of both nations.
The discussions also covered the UAE’s participation in SAHA Expo 2026, which will be hosted in Istanbul. The two sides highlighted the exhibition’s importance in promoting international cooperation in the defence and aerospace sectors.
In addition, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and President Erdoğan reviewed several issues of mutual interest, with particular focus on developments in the Middle East and their implications for regional and international security and stability.
