Saudi Leadership Praises Successful Hajj Season, Commends Efforts of Pilgrimage Workers

Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman have sent reply cables expressing their appreciation to Interior Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif following the successful completion of this year’s Hajj pilgrimage and the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

The messages came in response to a cable sent earlier by Prince Abdulaziz on behalf of regional governors, members of the Supreme Hajj Committee, security personnel, and all agencies involved in the Hajj operation. In the message, the interior minister expressed gratitude for the Saudi leadership’s support and guidance in ensuring the success of the annual pilgrimage.

In his reply, King Salman praised the successful management of the Hajj season despite the challenges facing the region, attributing the achievement first to the grace of God and then to the coordinated efforts of all sectors involved in serving pilgrims.

The King noted that comprehensive security, health, preventive, organizational, and service plans enabled approximately 1.7 million pilgrims to perform their rituals and travel between the holy sites with ease, safety, and tranquility.

He said the leadership closely monitored the efforts of the various agencies responsible for serving pilgrims and expressed satisfaction with the dedication and professionalism demonstrated throughout the Hajj season.

King Salman also thanked all personnel involved in the operation and prayed for the acceptance of the pilgrims’ Hajj and their safe return to their home countries. He further asked for continued guidance and success in serving Islam and Muslims.

In a separate message, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman commended the extensive efforts undertaken across the security, healthcare, traffic management, organizational, and service sectors to ensure pilgrims’ comfort and well-being.

He also praised the coordination and oversight provided by the relevant authorities, which contributed to the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.

The Crown Prince concluded by praying for the acceptance of the pilgrims’ worship and for the continued security, stability, and prosperity of the Saudi Arabia.

Saudi authorities have described this year’s Hajj season as a success, highlighting the extensive preparations and integrated services provided to facilitate the pilgrimage for more than 1.7 million worshippers from around the world.
