Leyla Aliyeva Attends Artist’s First Solo Exhibition

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, attended the opening ceremony of the first solo exhibition by painter Yahya Jalilov in Azerbaijan’s Gabala district.
The exhibition was held at the park of the Gabala Archaeological Center in the village of Chukhur-Gabala and showcased 38 artworks by the artist, who hails from the Vandam settlement of Gabala.
Following the exhibition, Leyla Aliyeva took part in a tree-planting campaign organised by the IDEA Public Union in the park surrounding the Gabala Archaeological Center.
The environmental initiative brought together 32 children from Gabala and Baku, reflecting the organisation’s continued efforts to promote environmental awareness and encourage youth participation in nature conservation activities.
The event combined support for cultural expression with environmental stewardship, highlighting the importance of preserving both Azerbaijan’s artistic heritage and natural environment.
