President Aliyev Vows to Safeguard Azerbaijan’s Sovereignty, Says Nation’s Strength Is Unshakable

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has reaffirmed the country’s determination to protect its sovereignty and national dignity, declaring that Azerbaijan possesses a strong state, a powerful army, and an unwavering national will.

Speaking during a meeting with residents of the Guzeykhirman and Guneykhirman villages in the Khojavend district, President Aliyev paid tribute to the country’s martyrs and emphasized the importance of preserving the achievements secured through their sacrifices.

“In front of the souls of our martyrs, we must once again swear to ourselves, to our people, and to our state that under any circumstances, we will protect our national dignity. From now on, no one will ever harm our people,” the President said. He added, “Our state is strong, our Army is strong, our will is firm.”

President Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan remains committed to ensuring its national security and safeguarding the interests of its citizens while continuing the reconstruction and development of the liberated territories. He noted that the country’s resilience and unity have laid the foundation for lasting stability and progress.

The President also praised the Azerbaijani people for their patriotism and steadfastness, saying the nation has demonstrated its strength and loyalty to its historical values. He highlighted that the spirit of national unity and determination continues to guide Azerbaijan’s development and reinforce its sovereignty.

The remarks were delivered during President Aliyev’s visit to the Khojavend district, where he met with returning residents as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to restore infrastructure, resettle former internally displaced persons, and accelerate socio-economic development in the region.
