President, Prime Minister Extend Milad-un-Nabi Greetings to Nation and Muslim World

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended their greetings to the nation and the Muslim world on the occasion of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, emphasizing the enduring message of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the importance of following his teachings in personal and collective life.
In his message, President Zardari described 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal as an occasion to recall the great divine blessing of guidance. He said the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) marked the beginning of an era illuminated by faith, knowledge, justice and fairness.
The President said the noble example of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provides a complete path toward human welfare and salvation. He emphasized that a virtuous society is built upon justice, piety and high moral values.
President Zardari further said that love and devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) require Muslims to incorporate the teachings of his Seerah and Sunnah into their daily lives.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) constitute an everlasting source of guidance for humanity. He said the Prophet’s teachings call for compassion, justice, tolerance, unity and service to others.
The Prime Minister urged the nation to resolve to illuminate its individual character and collective conduct with the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH). He also called for a collective commitment to building a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.
Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) is being observed across Pakistan with religious devotion and reverence, with communities organizing gatherings and programmes to commemorate the birth and exemplary life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
