Algerian President Hosts Reception for Senior Active and Retired Army Officers
Algiers, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a reception ceremony on Sunday evening at the National Army Club in Beni Messous, Algiers, in honour of senior active and retired officers of the People’s National Army.
The ceremony was attended by several high-ranking state officials and was held to mark the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of Algeria’s Glorious November 1, 1954 Revolution.
The event paid tribute to the officers of the People’s National Army, commemorating the historic revolution that marked the beginning of Algeria’s struggle for independence and remains a significant milestone in the country’s national history.
