Jordanian King approves Cabinet reshuffle
Amman, The Gulf Observer: Jordanian Monarch, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, today issued a Royal Decree, approving a reshuffle of Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh’s Cabinet.
According to Jordan News Agency (Petra), the Royal Decree approved the appointment of the following:
- Nasser Shraideh as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of State for Public Sector Modernisation
- Wajih Azaizeh as Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs
- Ahmad Maher Abul Samen as Minister of Public Works and Housing and Minister of Transport
- Azmi Mahafzah as Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
- Yousef Shamali as Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply and Minister of Labour
- Faisal Shboul as Minister of Government Communications
- Wafaa Bani Mustafa as Minister of Social Development
- Kholoud Saqqaf as Minister of Investment
- Nancy Namrouqa as Minister of State for Legal Affairs
- Zeina Toukan as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation.
Another Royal Decree had been issued, approving the resignation of the following, as of 27 October 2022:
- Nasser Shraideh as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation
- Wajih Owais as Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
- Yahya Kisbi as Minister of Public Works and Housing
- Wajih Azaizah as Minister of Transport
- Ayman Mufleh as Minister of Social Development
- Nawaf Wasfi Tell as Minister of State for Follow-up and Government Coordination
- Yousef Shamali as Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply
- Faisal Shboul as Minister of State for Media Affairs
- Wafaa Bani Mustafa as Minister of State for Legal Affairs
- Khairy Amr as Minister of Investment
- Nayef Steitieh as Minister of Labour.
