Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid attends military parade at Expo 2020 Dubai

DUBAI, TGO: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, attended a military parade at Expo 2020 Dubai on Saturday. Sheikh Mohammed, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, and the Expo crowds watched as members of the Armed Forces demonstrated their combat skills and readiness. The Dubai Ruler praised the advanced competencies of the UAE Armed Forces and underlined its critical role in ensuring the country’s security and stability

The exercise – Union Fortress 8 – served as a showcase for the UAE’s military powers. The free show, which will also be staged on Sunday, included displays such as a helicopter mission drill and the latest army vehicles. Union Fortress was held in line with the UAE’s Golden Jubilee and aims to celebrate the development of the Armed Forces over the decades.
